Neues von Tirk Recordings: Time And Space Machine & “Zen And The Art Of Disco”
Tirk Recordings veröffentlicht im März eine neue Compilation. “Zen And The Art Of Disco” lautet der Titel des von DJs In The Sky gemixten Werks, Die Mission liest sich ähnlich blumig: “Tirk has enlisted DJs in the Sky to explore these sonic hinterlands, to take the resting dancer and peace seeking listener down a slower moving sonic path to a no less compelling place, nestling somewhere to the left of the dance floor. Welcome to the Zen Disco.” Auf der Zusammenstellung ist auch The Time And Space Machine vertreten, das Projekt von Richard Norris, den man auch von Beyond The Wizard´s Sleeve oder The Grid kennt. Ebenfalls im März kommt nun auf Tirk Recordings ein ganzes Album der Zeit- und Raummaschine. Richard dazu: After years collecting, releasing, writing and thinking about psychedelic music, I’ve finally put my formative influences onto a set of tunes. I’ve been in love with psychedelia and freakbeat ever since I worked at the UK psych label Bam Caruso as a teenager, and I’ve really tried to mesh that influence with modern techniques to create something new.”
