Plus 8: 20 Jahre, 100 Releases
Auch das legendäre Plus 8 Label feiert nun sein 20-jähriges Jubiläum. 1990 gründeten Richie Hawtin und John Acquaviva das Imprint im kanadischen Windsor. Es folgten wegweisende Releases, die die Techno-Welt in Ekstase versetzten. Evergreens wie “Pullover” von Speedy J, “Technarchy” von Cybersonik, “Substance Abuse” von FUSE oder “Vortex” von Final Exposure etwa. Solche und weitere Hits von Plus 8 wurden nun für die Katalognummer 100, die “The Remixes” Compilation, von Künstlern wie Tiefschwarz, Alexi Delano & Tony Rohr, Marcel Dettmann, Marco Carola, Alex Under oder auch Function in ein neues Gewandt gesteckt. Satte 22 Tracks umfasst das als digitales Release auf Beatport, Juno und der M_nus Seite erschienene Werk.
